About The Role
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Creating 3D models including assemblies & sub-assemblies
  • Prepare manufacturing drawings & preparation of BOMs (bill of materials)
  • Working closely with management to understand and meet customer requirements including schedules, design requirements & specifications
  • Assisting with resource planning & backlog prioritisation
  • Organise and communicate information
  • Performing tasks with minimal supervision

About You
As integral part of the team you'll bring your experience and strong work ethic along with having:

  • Permanent Australian residency and full working rights is essential to this role
  • 5-10 years' experience in mechanical design drafting is essential
  • Demonstrated history of mechanical work with design of production machinery or conveyors - a background of work focused on Food segments is highly regarded
  • Experience drafting structural weldments & sheet metal components
  • Proficiency in Solidworks & Autodesk AutoCAD
  • A wide range of hands-on practice in drafting, design, calculations & quality control
  • Self-motivation for autonomous work
