About the School
Labrador State School is centrally located on the Gold Coast, just two blocks from the tranquil Broadwater. We offer a quality education for Prep to Year 6 students, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and holistic development through academics, music, and sports. Our friendly community enjoys a coastal lifestyle with stunning beaches and surf close by.
About the Role
As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Uphold values-based, ethical leadership.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
Nurture positive partnerships with students, teachers, community and stakeholders.
Be future-oriented and strategic.
Understand policies and legislation effecting the department.
Manage department resources to achieve goals.
