The Opportunity We are seeking a Change Manager (12 month full time fixed term) who is passionate about people, adept at stakeholder engagement, and innovative in their approach to driving change.
This role will be pivotal in our People Systems Upgrade Project-an implementation/transformation of our HRIS and Payroll systems.
The new HRIS will be a true game changer: enhancing talent management, elevating employee experience and engagement, empowering managers, and enabling data-driven decision making across the organisation.
As Change Manager, you will partner closely with the Project Manager and provide expert advice and hands-on support to sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders.
Your goal will be to ensure the project has strong engagement from stakeholders at UNSW College, the transition is smooth, the people impacts are well managed, and the defined benefits are measured and reached before during and after project commencement.
Key Responsibilities Lead stakeholder engagement and manage the people impacts of change.Conduct change impact assessments and readiness reviews.Develop and deliver change strategies and plans.Support transition to business-as-usual, embedding new ways of working.Collaboration will be essential, as you work with HR, Payroll, IT, and other business areas to prepare employees to adopt and sustain the change.
What We're Looking For You will bring: Demonstrated experience in leading organisational change across complex projects.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.A people-centred approach, with the ability to adapt this approach to the UNSW College Culture and ways of working.Experience managing change through a technology upgrade.
Experience in working through a HRIS, HRMS or HCM being preferred.Strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on mindset.
