**Role**:
The team/client is on the hunt for a Change Manager
**WITH RAIL EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND **to assist the Director with the management of the delivery of change management activities, lead key change activities, and take ownership of Change Management Strategy/Plans for one of Sydney's biggest rail upgrades.

The Manager will bring strong experience across stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, business readiness assessments, and learning analysis whilst also managing stakeholder expectations about the program, generating buy-in to the solution, and supporting organisational alignment.

**Duties**:

- Facilitate the design, development and ownership of Change Management Strategy/Plans and ensure that appropriate Change Management inputs are incorporated into the overall Project Plan including communications, stakeholder, sponsor, IR, HR and LD Strategies/Plans.
- Manage change management activities including change impact assessments on the project and monitoring and assessment of the performance and 'success' of business readiness change management activities upon project and/ or activity completion
- Develop and design communications and engagement content for the Project
- Work collaboratively with all operational business groups to understand current and future state and to ensure business requirements are translated into documentation.
- Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics and identify and manage anticipated resistance to change
- Collaborate with HR, IR, LD, Communications, and any other stakeholders to deliver an integrated people change service to the business.

**Key challenges**:

- Delivering a range of Change deliverables, given tight deadlines, limited resources and the need to manage competing priorities.
- Working in a complex business environment currently undergoing significant change.
- Experience in change management within a highly industrialised landscape.
- RAIL experience - **a must**:

- Proven background/experience in developing Change Management Strategy/Plans (either as stand-alone documents are incorporated within the wider Project Management Strategy/Plan).
- Go-getter
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of the role. (no reporting line)
