We are hiring Unfortunately, we are saying goodbye to one of our amazing Medical Receptionists who is moving interstate. As a result of this we have an exciting opportunity for someone to fill an integral role in our clinic. We are looking for an experienced customer service superstar to join our team on a full-time basis.

**About you -**
- You are an experienced General Practice Medical Receptionist with knowledge in Best Practice (highly regarded) with a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
- You posses a high level of attention to detail
- You are able to work as part of a team and autonomously and can communicate with doctors, patients and other staff members with ease.
- You are empathetic, kind-hearted, flexible, supportive and have a strong work ethic.

**About the role -**

As a medical receptionist your role will include but not be limited to the following
- Manage all phone enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner.
- Front of house reception / Greeting patients on arrival.
- Diary management including scheduling appointments, minor procedures, vaccinations, skin checks, sending out referrals and more.
- Issuing invoices to patients and third parties.
- Processing Medicare rebates as required.
- Entering and updating patient details.
- Ensuring reception and patient waiting area is always clean and presentable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32-38 per week

**Salary**: $26.50 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Prahran, VIC 3181: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
