Ingredion is hiring a Project Leader responsible to lead customer technical relationships with our Global Key Accounts and Regional/Strategic Key Accounts in support of the Sugar Reduction & Specialty Sweetener (SR&SS) platform with a focus on PureCircle by Ingredion's sweetener portfolio. The Project Leader will lead projects with the global go to market team including product development support as well as internal new product validation to drive opportunities and growth in additional to manage a team to grow and strengthen Ingredion's SR&SS businesses with our most highly valued customers.

Core responsibilities:

- Accelerate commercial success with existing portfolio of specialty sweetener products.
- Partner with Global Innovation/R&D, Global Key Account (GKA) & Regional Go-To-Market (GTM) teams for roll-out of new product launches
- Collaborate cross-functionally with a team that supports and coordinates strategic activity w/ regional technical teams as it relates to Global Key Accounts & Strategic Regional Key Accounts
- Co-create with customers by providing technical solutions to product development challenges.
- Design and coordinate resources to conduct experiments in the pilot plant or laboratory to progress projects.
- Support the development of internal capabilities, by researching new techniques and technologies, and providing sourcing, training, business justification, and implementation.
- Manage customer activities through Salesforce.
- MS/BS in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, plus 7+ years of progressive experience in product development with food ingredient/CPG companies.
- Direct experience with customers and formulating with sweeteners highly desired.
- 25-40% travel required to attend trade shows, conferences, trainings, and customer engagements/client site visits.
- Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills e.g. delivering presentations and writing technical reports.
- Ability to productively work across cultures and time zones and manage technical teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of food safety Good Manufacturing Practices, specifically related to flavor products and processes
- Experience with experimental design, statistical data analysis, and interpretation of results.
