About the Role

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer with Transmission Lines experience for our Adelaide CBD office. This role involves delivering single and multi-disciplinary transmission lines projects using both internal and external engineering and design resources. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing project proposals and bids, interfacing with client Design Managers, Project Managers, and other Project Engineers, and fostering positive, value-add client relationships. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the development of Design Management methodology, tools, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional quality control support for the department, ensuring quality in our designs and delivery to clients in a timely manner.
• Deliver single and multi-disciplinary transmission lines projects.
• Manage project proposals and bids.
• Interface with client Design Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Foster positive, value-add client relationships.
• Contribute to the development of Design Management methodology, tools, and processes.
• Manage client interactions while maintaining mutually beneficial professional relationships.

What You Need to Succeed

We are looking for someone who shares our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and who actively pursues continuous learning to shape the future.

• At least 5 years of continual experience with Transmission Lines Projects
• A minimum of a BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or Civil / Structural Engineering.
• National Registered Engineer (NER) or Charted Engineer certified (preferred but essential)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
• A project management and excellence in service delivery mindset.
• Experience in Design Management functions within the electrical industry.
• Experience in project interface and meeting client expectations.
• Strong communication skills to produce quality Design Management outcomes for a project.
• Ability to facilitate the internal project team in producing quality documents and drawings in alignment with project requirements.
• Experience coordinating design teams across multiple disciplines and locations.
