**Core Responsibilities**:

- Provide operational leadership and support across Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability
- Assisting company wide HSE regulatory compliance matters
- Lead improvements in critical risk, risk reduction and risk awareness
- Emergency response and crisis management
- Strive for safety excellence company wide
- Aim to continuously improve employee safety & risk behaviours
- HSE and sustainability reports
- Provide coaching and mentoring to site HSE teams

**Requirements**:

- Degree educated in related field
- Experience operating in corporate / group / global / large regional role - Safety performance, excellence, risk management
- Strong, relevant experience in Mining or closely related industry
- Experience in ER, mine rescue procedures, medical procedures
- Solid knowledge of corporate safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong interpersonal / relationship building / influencing skills
