About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the Waste Intelligence Network (WIN) as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria
The WIN Intelligence Analyst will be an integral member of the WIN Intelligence team providing high quality intelligence products which will inform decision making and by working with state government agencies to foster partnerships and working towards a goal of preventing harm to the Victorian Community and the environment.
Duties

- Deliver tactical and operational intelligence (such as target profiling, imagery analysis and network charting) to support the WIN's strategic priorities, and delivery of compliance and enforcement activities.
- Develop and implement data and information collection systems and storage.
- Engage with WIN agencies and stakeholders to build knowledge and awareness of the laws that protect our environment and human health from pollution and waste.

Skills and experience
- At least 3 years' experience as an intelligence analyst, preferably in a law enforcement or regulatory environment.
- A relevant tertiary degree and/or post graduate qualifications in intelligence analysis, criminology, police studies, environmental studies, or similar is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and interpret qualitative data and information to deliver high quality intelligence products to a broad range of clients.
