**About the role**

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for an experienced Material Expeditor to join our Henderson on a permanent basis. This opportunity is part of the WAMA Supply Chain Team and contributes to provision and management of inventory required in support of Department of Defence repair and maintenance activities.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Developing, managing and maintaining Task Material Lists (TML);
- Continually expediting materials to achieve best outcomes for end users;
- Cancellation and deferrals of material demands, as required;
- Investigation and rectification of any anomalies and discrepancies;
- Facilitating reverse logistics of returnable materials;
- Provide regular updates and reporting to users; and
- Contribute to the enhancement of the inventory and logistics capability, systems and procedures.

**About you**

Essential
- Experience in Supply Chain activities;
- Proven high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Strong relationships management skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities within tight time-frames
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite;

Desirable
- Experience using the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS)
- Experience in SAP
- Prior experience in Defence sector

Essential Compliance Requirements
- Current Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)

This position will work within our subsidiary Naval Ship Management (NSM), which provides asset management solutions to the Australian maritime sector. NSM supports assets across the Royal Australian Navy's fleet - most notably the Anzac Class Frigates as a member of the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) and the Canberra Class Landing Helicopter Docks (LHD), LHD Landing Craft (LLC) and associated assets as the Asset Class Prime Contractor.
