Job Title: Material Expeditor
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Material Expeditor to join our team. This role involves providing and managing inventory in support of Defence repair and maintenance activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing, managing, and maintaining Task Material Lists (TML)
- Expediting materials to achieve optimal outcomes
- Cancelling or deferring material demands as required
- Investigating and resolving anomalies and discrepancies
- Coordinating reverse logistics for returnable materials
- Providing regular updates and reporting to stakeholders
- Contributing to the enhancement of inventory and logistics capabilities, systems, and procedures
Key Responsibilities
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage responsibilities within tight time-frames. The successful candidate will also have experience in supply chain activities and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable qualifications include experience using Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) and SAP.
Additionally, the successful candidate must hold a current Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence and be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
