Purchasing or supply chain experience (mining ideal)ERP exposure (MS Dynamics/SAP/Oracle)Strong attention to detail & "can-do" attitude, potential temp-perm role (initial 6 month contract) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Expeditor to join our client's team.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring parts and materials are delivered on time to support smooth business operations across multiple sites.As the Purchasing Expeditor, you will oversee purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up on overdue items to support critical maintenance activities and the end-to-end procure-to-pay process.
Working closely with internal stakeholders across supply, logistics, finance, and site-based teams, you'll help drive efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness across purchasing activities.Key ResponsibilitiesExpedite parts for planned maintenance events and site shutdownsMonitor and follow up on overdue purchase ordersTrack and confirm overnight deliveries to remote sitesManage backordered parts to ensure timely supplyCoordinate invoice queries with the wider finance teamProduce and distribute reports to support purchasing and logistics functionsDevelop and refine reporting processes to improve the procure-to-pay cycleSkills, Experience and Qualifications:Minimum 2+ years' experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logisticsBackground using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE (desirable)Strong time management and prioritisation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamA high level of attention to detail and problem-solving capabilityCompletion of Year 12 secondary education (or equivalent)Further studies or training in supply chain highly regardedDiversity, Equity & Inclusion at HudsonHudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
