Thai Steel is a reputable company in the manufacturing of concrete mixers with a strong reputation in the industry. Due to increased demand, we are currently seeking a hard-working and skilled Fitter with high attention to detail to fit and assemble transit concrete mixer components.

Position: Fitter (General)

Location: Sumner, QLD

Employment Type: Full-time

About the role:

- Fit components and fabricated metal parts to trucks to make concrete transit mixers.
- Replace damaged or defective parts.
- Modify components by grinding, drilling, cutting, bending as required.
- Carry out maintenance on mixers.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong skills in the use of a variety of metal shop tools & equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
