The Opportunity:

Joii offers secure, well-paid positions where your work makes a community difference. Due to ongoing projects, we are urgently seeking enthusiastic and motivated qualified Fitters - Mechanics (General) to join our Queensland Trades Team.

Responsibilities:

The primary role involves working as part of a team to create, maintain, and operate reliable production lines and testing facilities for automotive products.

Essential skills:
  • Qualification and/or 2+ years' experience as a Fitter or Mechanic with relevant expertise.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience operating high-speed manufacturing equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fundamental principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a solutions-focused approach.

  • Hardworking, reliable, and good communicator.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow directions from managers.

Additional information:

Must have MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and Fitting AQF Certificate III (with at least two years of on-the-job training) or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) as a Fitter or Mechanic.

  • Tasks include fitting fabricated parts, ensuring quality standards, adjusting settings, checking parts, and assisting with machinery repair and maintenance.
