Due to ongoing projects, we are urgently seeking enthusiastic and motivated qualified Fitters - Mechanics (General) to join our Queensland Trades Team.
Responsibilities:
The primary role involves working as part of a team to create, maintain, and operate reliable production lines and testing facilities for automotive products.
Essential skills:
Qualification and/or 2+ years' experience as a Fitter or Mechanic with relevant expertise.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Experience operating high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fundamental principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated with a solutions-focused approach.

Ability to build rapport and work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Hardworking, reliable, and good communicator.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow directions from managers.

Additional information:
Must have MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and Fitting AQF Certificate III (with at least two years of on-the-job training) or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) as a Fitter or Mechanic.
Tasks include fitting fabricated parts, ensuring quality standards, adjusting settings, checking parts, and assisting with machinery repair and maintenance.
