One of Australia's prominent **Federal Government Departments **are looking to engage an experienced **Windows Administrator **specialist with strong experience in MS Windows server technologies including active directory, PowerShell scripting, MS Exchange, SCCM, VMWare ESXi virtualisation and various other products. The successful **Windows Administrator **will be offered an initial **12-month** contract along with **2 x 12-month extensions **combined with an excellent hourly rate.

The successful **Windows Administrator **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Excellent communication skills
- Design, implementation, and support of ICT systems using Cisco products
- Design and support documentation including knowledge articles 2nd level support for incidents
- Monitoring of systems

The successful **Windows Administrator **will have experience in the following:

- Ensure that system software is provisioned and configured to facilitate the achievement of service objectives
- Evaluate new system software and recommend adoption if appropriate
- Plan the provision and testing of new versions of software systems
- Investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual service problems
- Ensure that operational procedure and diagnostics for system software are current, accessible and well understood.
