Responsibilities
Curriculum Architect: Develop, roll out and refine comprehensive learning pathways for all staff - from new graduates and postgraduate students to undergraduate nursing placements and new employees.
Educational Champion: Offer leadership, mentorship and support to the team of Clinical Nurse Educators, fostering professional growth.
Academic Collaborator: Partner with tertiary institutions and specialty Nurse Educators to co-create, launch and assess postgraduate nursing courses.
Strategic Planner: Lead planning and deployment of targeted educational strategies for the Ward/Unit/Service nursing workforce, aligned with district standards.
Ongoing Support & Development: Receive backing from the John Hunter Hospital Executive Team with tailored professional development and a structured job-share handover.
Requirements
Hold or be eligible for current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Post-registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications relevant to the clinical area or equivalent qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in a management role.

4 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time); 6 weeks annual leave for eligible full-time nurses.
Salary packaging options up to $11,600 plus novated leasing.
