Key responsibilities As commercial manager, you will be the face of the company's OEM/ODM business, acting as the key customer-facing expert.
Your primary goal is to drive sales and growth by building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and delivering customised solutions to meet their needs across both Australian and international markets.
You are a natural hunter who is results-focused, with a strong focus on meeting sales KPIs.
Develop proposals that address client needs and objectives
Share your time between the office in Melbourne's south-western suburbs and in the field
Manage the yearly budget and sales forecasts
Review and improve commercial contracts and pricing to optimise financial outcomes
Define and prepare the company's marketing strategy and materials
Mentor and develop your direct reports
Identify and support continuous improvements in commercial processes
Attend industry events and functions to build market awareness.

Your skills and experience:
Proven success in B2B business development within the cosmetics or FMCG contract manufacturing sector
Prior experience working within a GMP or TGA-licensed business
An established network of contacts within the cosmetics & beauty industry
Exceptional skills in people management and communication
A self-motivated and hungry attitude for continuous improvement.
You will stand out if you have:
A degree in business management or chemistry
Technical experience in new product development (NPD), R&D, quality control (QC), or production.
