We are currently recruiting **an Accounting Assistant.**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the part-time Finance Support has ownership of the accounts receivable and payable function and provides timely financial analysis and support to the business. This role is part-time 0.6 FTE (3 days), contract role for 12 months. This is a growing with a high possibility to be extended, to include payroll support. There is flexibility on hours and days of work, however, the role is mostly on-site.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Accounts payable & receivables and entering information into accounting software
- Processing employee expense claims
- Assist with monthly financial reporting
- Reconciliation and verification of accounts
- Debt collection as required
- Assisting the Finance Manager with general financial administrative duties

**To join our team, you will bring**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Experience using MYOB or other accounting software
- Analytical experience
- Proactive and a "forward thinking" attitude
- Intermediate-advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Problem-solving and time-management skills
- Knowledge of taxation will be beneficial
