Great opportunity for a QA Team Lead who is still interested in being hands-on. This role is a nice mix of leading a small team, driving the test strategy and helping create and execute tests cases.

We are on the search for a highly motivated, pro-active QA Team Lead to join a small QA team in charge of the Testing of an evolving tech product. The core role is to lead a QA team that is maintaining and improving the quality of the software release process, but you will also be driving test strategy and being technically hands-on when required.

You will pro-actively learn the product and the environment in which it operates, to articulate risks and constraints, and to uncover any defects, reporting them in a timely manner. You will lead a team which work collaboratively with developers, product owners and tech SME's. You will always be looking at creating efficiencies and process improvement.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years QA Team Lead experience (or equivalent) including Test strategy creation and execution.
- Technical expertise and skills in contemporary testing tools
- Some scripting knowledge and experience, preferably in Python
- Experience working in a Linux/UNIX environment
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, JIRA and Confluence
- Self-managed, proactive work style with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough
- Ability to create and adhere to test standards and procedures.
- Must have an Australian residency permit or citizenship

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Experience with Selenium or similar would be highly advantageous
- ISTQB qualification is preferred
- Agile methodology experience preferable
- Familiarity with TDD and BDD tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
