Digital Lead

Collaborating with global process team members to understand business requirements, working side-by-side with our System Integrator (SI) to translate these requirements into functional configurations within Workday HCM for a designated functional area, such as Core HCM, Learning, Recruitment, etc

Collaborating with global process team members to understand business requirements, working side-by-side with our System Integrator (SI) to translate these requirements into functional configurations within Workday HCM for a designated functional area, such as Core HCM, Learning, Recruitment, etc

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Shadowing the SI's Functional Leads and participating actively in knowledge transfer activities to build deep system configuration knowledge for the designated HCM module, as well as cross functional interdependencies within Workday HCM and ServiceNow HRSD (In particular core configuration, data model, integration and process hand off points)
- Partnering with the Global Process team members to understand functional requirements for their designated functional area, as well as the expected value being delivered back to the organisation
- Completing and consolidating configuration workbooks for the designed HCM module
- Partnering closely with the Workday regional workstream to capture local requirements, identifying gaps (with SI support) and ensuring this is captured within the configuration workbooks
- Supporting the SI Functional Lead with preparation of design sessions by reviewing content and testing the system demonstrations
- Partnering with Global Process team members and the Technical Workstream to cleanse data, validate and reconcile data loads and resolve defects
- Partnering with the SI Functional Lead and Global Process team members during design sessions, ensuring alignment with Objective Key Results, design principles and industry best practice
- Leading functional specific sections of the Prototype Review and Testing Workshops, in partnership with the SI to support business ownership of the solution
- Partnering with the Technical workstream to support in data, integration, reporting and security scoping and approach discussions, as well as supporting as needed with functional testing to identify functional gaps or misalignment
- Partnering with Global Process team members and the Testing Workstream to develop test scenarios, as well as participating in testing for all test phases
- Participating in Client Workday Delivery Assurance Review feedback sessions
- Understanding Tenant Management and the process to schedule and manage tenant refreshes on the Workday Customer Portal
- Participating in a Knowledge Transfer program, led by the SI, building HCM configuration capability through observation, shadowing, mentoring/collaboration, system testing & environment preparation, practical exercises that involve configuration in a test tenant (quality checked by SI self assessment) and issue resolution - escalating to the Workday Product Owner where concerns exist around capability uplift approach
- Participating in Workday HCM training at the start of the project and additional functional specific training as required

**Key competencies**:

- Demonstrated experience in respective functional area (E.g. Core HR, Recruitment, Compensation, etc.)
- HR Technology experience in a cloud basedSasS solution (such as Workday, SAP, Oracle or integrated talent management technologies) or ERP technologies - Tier 1 HCM certifications highly preferable
- Ability to collaborate and partner within a team environment, sharing freely
- Ability to participate in workshops, and communicate in a clear, effective manner both verbally and written, both within and outside of the project team
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite often conflicting demands

- Aptitude for learning and using multiple system

**Project Management experience**:

- Background in IT, Data or Systems is beneficial
- Industry experience in a SasS system administrator role
- Ability to gather, analyse, prioritise and
