THE ROLE
As a Project Officer in the Inclusion and Equity (Food Relief) team, you will support the development and implementation of initiatives to strengthen the community food relief sector in Victoria.
In particular, the position will support projects from the Food Relief Taskforce's Action Plan to increase knowledge of the system through the collection, analysis and reporting of data. This will include distilling data into meaningful narratives and visualisations for different audiences.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Support policy and project development, consultation, advice and delivery of the Government's food relief agenda; and demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
- Drafts reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data from internal and relevant external sources.
- Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including departmental staff, other government departments, statutory authorities and external organisations.
