Senior Coordinator Role

We seek a skilled and dedicated Senior Coordinator to support the delivery of equity projects and programs. The successful applicant will have a strong background in health promotion, social sciences or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering social change programs.

  • Support the delivery of equity projects and programs through the project cycle, focusing on addressing and preventing gender-based violence, anti-racism, and promoting mental health wellbeing and inclusion.
  • Deliver multiple project actions using evidence-based frameworks and health promotion practice.
  • Monitor projects through cross-institutional and team-based data collection and analysis, and design and manage evaluation plans.
  • Develop project tools, reports, and training materials, and provide secretariat support to meetings.
Key Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of equity projects and programs through the project cycle, focusing on addressing and preventing gender-based violence, anti-racism, and promoting mental health wellbeing and inclusion.

This includes delivering multiple project actions using evidence-based frameworks and health promotion practice, monitoring projects through cross-institutional and team-based data collection and analysis, and designing and managing evaluation plans.

Additionally, the role involves developing project tools, reports, and training materials, and providing secretariat support to meetings.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a relevant degree in health promotion, social sciences, or a related field.

Applicants should also have at least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering social change programs, program evaluation, and gender-based violence prevention.

Experience in designing and delivering project plans for social change work is highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of equity and intersectional practice, including a willingness to work towards the prevention of sexual harm, gender-based violence, mental health wellbeing, anti-racism, disability inclusion, and cis/heterosexism is essential.
