The purpose of the Advisor (Identity Management) role is to deliver advice to internal and external stakeholders and customers related to products and services that align with current policies and procedures for identity management functions.
**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist Internal Audit, Queensland Police Service and the Crime and Misconduct Commission with audits and the investigation of suspected identity crimes and where necessary represent the department in resultant court hearings.
- Take personal responsibility to deliver on agreed outcomes, model high standards of professionalism and ethical behavior; demonstrate self-awareness and a commitment to personal development.
- Provide sound advice to support informed decision making on a range of customer identity policies, legislation, business processes and systems.
- Communicate and liaise with a range of stakeholders, providing advice clearly and accurately, and dealing capably with challenging situations.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and submissions and contribute operational knowledge for briefing notes and other documentation.

Requirements of the role
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to understand and share information in a clear way while working effectively with people.
- Ability to acquire a complete understanding of operational policies, systems and legislation.
- Excellent written skills to prepare various forms of correspondence.
- Reliability to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and ethical behavior in dealing with sensitive information.
- Ability to operate as an effective team member both locally and as part of the wider community.

Desirable Requirements
- Sound knowledge of driver licence and registration legislation, policies and systems, including demonstrated use of the Transport Registration and Integrated Licensing System (TRAILS) / Transport Integrated Customer Access (TICA).
