**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Clerk to join our RCA team in Moorebank NSW. As a transport clerk, you will have a variety of responsibilities, which can make the job interesting and engaging. Some of the tasks you may be responsible for include scheduling and coordinating deliveries, tracking shipments, managing transportation documentation, and communicating with drivers and customers.
If you prefer to wake up early, beat the rush hour commute or have commitments in the afternoon, this role is for you as it operates between 5.30am - 1.30pm Monday - Friday. As the Transport Clerk, you will:
- Complete the day to day planning for the facility to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity for the DC. This includes managing and controlling all batch planning, managing daily work loads and schedules, providing administrative support to daily operations staff and monitoring status of work in progress.
- Record all outwards freight movements ensuring everything is labelled and manifested correctly, in line with company policy, customer requirements and legislation.
- Ensure all inward/outward freight movements recorded accurately in WMS/TMS on same day as physical movement took place.
- Answer all incoming phone calls in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
- Open and distribute all incoming mail in a timely and accurate manner.

- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Warehouse and/or Transport industry experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Suite knowledge)
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage several priorities at one time
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business demands and react quickly and effectively
- Advantageous: thorough understanding of HACCP and quality standards of major retailers
