We're hiring for a **Talent and Capabilities Officer **, who'll be based at 40-hectare primary processing site in Cannon Hill.

A rewarding and fast-paced role, you'll contribute to production performance, compliance and improved employee productivity, capability, engagement and retention, by providing timely, accurate and informed people acquisition services and support to employees and managers. This includes the acquisition and facilitating of effective skilled and unskilled meatworker recruitment, both locally and internationally, and human resources transactional activities that adheres to relevant employment legislation, industrial instruments, company policy & procedure and that aligns with ACC's values and behaviours

Key duties include:

- Reviewing and supplying details about current job vacancies of the organisation to the job market, and assisting in the development of role descriptions
- Coordinating the identification and promotion of job openings and advertising of job vacancies
- Conducting interviews with production managers and supervisors and arranging assessments
- Liaising with recruitment agencies and immigration agents to attract talents locally and around the globe
- Managing employee records and human resource information systems.
- Organising pre-employment medicals and QFever vaccinations and staff inductions
- Providing support and information to shift production management regarding workplace relations policies, staff performance and disciplinary issues
- Analysing and interpreting legislation, awards, wage payment systems, employment contracts and provide advice to production
- Participating in developing workplace relations policies and procedures and establishing procedures for their implementation
- Assisting in the development of incentive scheme for current and prospective employees to attract and retain talents
- Providing on-going HR support to AM shift employees and Managers when required.
