Located in our national head office, our Sustainability Manager will develop and manage sustainability and environmental initiatives and reporting in close consultation with leadership and project teams.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

- Develop and manage sustainability and environmental strategies, action plans, policies, and training.
- Advise on ESG and environmental regulatory compliance to ensure sustainability objectives are met nationally.
- Manage collection, analysis and reporting of sustainability data across our construction operations for reporting purposes.
- Monitor, and report on key sustainability and environmental performance objectives for managing project risk and supporting continuous improvement towards sustainability goals.
- Manage external relationships with relevant sustainability industry bodies and intermediaries.
- Embed sustainability and environmental requirements into design and procurement processes.
- Coordinate and manage external sustainability consultants.

**Qualifications**
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines.
- Strong understanding of Federal, State and local environmental statutes and legislation.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to develop and manage initiatives aligned with company direction.
- Ability to travel interstate where required.
