**What are we looking for?**

Ktrans are currently seeking a Depot Freight Supervisor to join our team on a full time permanent based at our Kenwick Depot. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will be responsible for the Quality and Compliance of all Ktrans inbound and outbound freight.

**You will be responsible for but not limited to**:

- Scheduling and supervising all loading activities and being accountable for maximizing loading freight safely and securely to reduce risk of damage or movement during transit
- Manage the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiency, safety and the demands of the business
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and trailer requirements, freight layout and load plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met to highest standards
- Develop freight handling systems and procedures for determining freight and loading requirements, equipment utilisation, inventory management, processing and shipping
- Ensuring the presentation of our assets is up to a high standard
- Empower and encourage team members to suggest alternate viable solutions and improvements

- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Industry codes of practice
- Be cost control conscious
- Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to chain of responsibility

- Able to prioritise workload and tasks in order of urgency
- Ability to undergo a company funded medical which includes drug and alcohol testing
