We are currently seeking an experienced Technician to join our team

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with Production team to ensure equipment is running efficiently
- Proactive in equipment changeover/setup, breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
- New equipment installations
- Support continuous improvement to existing systems and processes
- Attending breakdown on manufacturing equipment
- Carrying out day-to-day preventive maintenance tasks
- Scheduling services with the Production manager and contractors
- Maintain maintenance and operation records
- Liaising with external contractors in relation to preventative, corrective maintenance and new installs
- Attending breakdowns and installs outside of normal business hours

**To be Successful, you will have the following qualifications & skills**:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in food or FMCG industries
- Relevant qualifications
- Experience running and maintaining production and packaging equipment
- Highly effective communication skills and be a team player
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Sound technical, IT and mechanical skills
- Awareness and understanding of WH&S requirements
- Strong understanding of HACCP requirements
- Experience in the dairy industry advantageous
- Italian language skills will be highly regarded

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
