**About the opportunity**:
We've had an exciting opening come up at our Maribyrnong store location and are on the lookout for a technician / automotive mechanic to join us.
Our Maribyrnong store is in an excellent location, directly opposite Highpoint shopping centre and the team themselves take a lot of pride in the work that they do. In this full-time role you'll join a team of four (your addition will make it five) and play an important part in delivering a high-quality service in a role that is interesting and varied.
There are many career progression opportunities available to Technician's at Pedders and in fact in the past our Technician roles have proved to be a great breeding ground for talent and many of our team members today have been involved in the technician space.
**So, what's the role about**:
Wheel alignment
General repair of suspension and steering components
Brake repairs
Fault diagnosis
Moderate electrical installations including towbars
Liaise with customers

**What we're seeking from you**:
Experience as a Mechanic and/or Brake Technician
Have worked across different vehicle makes and models
Full drivers' licence with ability to drive manual
Strong verbal communication skills
A team player with attention to detail
Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred)
Experience in basic wheel alignment (preferred)
