An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for an engaged, passionate and driven **Food & Beverage Manager** to oversee our F&B operations at The Barrel. This is your opportunity to join a Clouds Retreats Team that has a fantastic attitude and the desire to deliver for our customers.

**The purpose of the role**

Working closely with management, this is a great opportunity for a driven, experienced and energetic Food & Beverage leader looking for a new challenge. You will be hands-on in your approach to delivering a customer centric experience, while you coach and mentor the team to deliver the same exceptional service.

We are looking for someone who is a forward thinker with the ability to overcome challenges as they arise. You will maintain a high level of product knowledge across all menus and a strong understanding of regional produce. Coupled with this will be your ability to ensure your team are confident in their knowledge across service periods. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing our F&B operations in a safe and efficient manner ensuring high standards of service and profitability.

Our hours are generally 9am - 5pm and a rotating roster will give you a work life balance.

**In this role you will**
- Lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, training team members, overseeing rosters and handling team conflict.
- Streamline operations through management of labour costs, food costs, stock levels and POS programming.
- Monitor, measure and deliver on customer satisfaction and preferences, including the proactive implementation of promotions.
- Enforce workplace health & safety protocols including managing all aspects of compliance with Food Safety regulations.
- Work with our Chef and kitchen team to price and manage food and beverage menu offerings.
- Working as part of a wider Clouds Retreats team to organise and facilitate events and functions in collaboration with the Events Coordinator.
- Work with our senior leadership team to ensure timely reporting of trends and forward thinking.
- You are savvy and innovative, with bags of energy, a positive mind-set and a desire to provide out of the box thinking that drives better outcomes for our customers and staff.
- You will have a passion for people and the ability to lead and mentor a diverse team in a busy environment.
- You will demonstrate a strong skillset in customer service, computer literacy, written and verbal communication, as well as a sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and safe work practices.
- Your experience will include front-of-house and a minimum 3 years' experience in a hospitality management position.
- You will have the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
- You will have your RSA or RMLV.
- You are deadline driven and results-focused and settle for nothing less than the very highest standards of service delivery.
- Solid financial and commercial acumen is a must, with an understanding of productivity and the ability to drive revenue and achieve bottom line profit and the best outcome.
- We want you to be hands on, working on the floor, leading your team from the front as the visible face of F&B at Clouds
