Metalcorp is a business of BlueScope and proud to manufacture and distribute steel products that are built for the needs of regional life.
Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.
We offer flexibility on location, with opportunities to be based at one of our regional branches in Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat or Melbourne (Clayton South).

As the face of Metalcorp in Victoria, you will represent our reputable and trusted brand ensuring profitable growth of revenue, margin and market share.
Immersing yourself in their world, you'll participate in-field and trade days with on farm visits to a wide range of rural customers, whilst enjoying the fulfilment of adding long-term value to customers and suppliers, sharing insights on how our products can contribute to their success.Victoria, being a key rural market, offers you a leadership opportunity where your influence will be pivotal across our year-round national rural campaigns.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to enhance the expertise of regional branches through training sessions and continuous application advice, making a significant impact on our business and the agricultural industry.With our commitment to innovation, you will have the opportunity to leverage our leading edge digital technologies, including our Virtual Reality Yard Viewer, a unique rural design tool.What Will You Do?
Having established yourself as a "go-to" person for solutions in the rural market, your passion for getting to the heart of customers' needs will see you succeed in this busy and challenging role.
Supported by national marketing and local customer service teams you will: build customer value: grow collaborative partnerships and in-depth understanding of customers that enables Metalcorp to deliver enhanced value and experiencedevelop and maintain relationships: grow meaningful relationships with customer and industry partnersenable growth opportunities: identify sales, service, customer and market trends –developing approaches and ways of working to deliver on new business opportunitiesbe aware of current industry and market changes: maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness to be able to respond to or proactively support customers and industry on changesfacilitate future-focused innovation and change: collaborate with others, influencing them to enable business improvements and facilitate innovative solutionsMore About YouAs an experienced sales leader with an enthusiasm to succeed, you will bring:demonstrated ability to build meaningful customer value and solutions that have delivered measurable outcomes for your businessknowledge of the Victorian rural market and products that are utilised to handle sheep, cattle and related livestockexcellent knowledge of sales operations and knowledge and use of CRM packages (e.g. Salesforce or similar)the ability to build constructive partnerships with others (internally and externally) to achieve business outcomesexcellent commercial acumen including an understanding of pricing and margin and its impact on profitabilitythe ability to co-ordinate and participate in field days across rural Victoria which will see you travel, set up and demonstrate our varied product rangeWhy Metalcorp Metalcorp supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
