Senior Financial Systems Professional

Your Opportunity

In this position, you will lead a small team of financial systems analysts and consultants, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to deliver impactful financial solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Design & Configuration: Lead the configuration, customization, and enhancement of financial modules to meet business needs.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of financial systems analysts and consultants, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  3. Process Optimization: Partner with finance teams to analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend best practices using financial systems capabilities to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  4. Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other modules and external systems, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between finance business units and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  6. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for financial system issues, including month-end/year-end closings, financial reporting, and system troubleshooting.
  7. Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
  8. Innovation: Stay updated on financial system advancements and recommend upgrades or new functionalities to enhance financial operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial systems implementations in a consulting or similar external client-facing role.
  • Deep functional experience of SAP S/4 Hana Finance and Controlling in at least one of the following functional areas:
    • Finance GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets
    • Group Reporting
    • Management Accounting (Cost Controlling)
    • Margins analysis
    • Product Costing
