Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) or drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night.This roster is 8/6 (days) - 7/7 (nights) and a 12-hour day.FIFO is offered from Carins or Townsville.We understand that flexible work means something different to everyone and encourage you to have a conversation about the flexible work options available.About the roleReporting to the Supervisor - Electrical Maintenance, the objective of this role is to optimize the availability of the concentrator and associated infrastructure through the safe and effective execution of precision maintenance activities.
Key result areas in this role include:Planning and executing non-routine tasks independentlyHosting contractors/visitors for shutdowns and small projectsAssisting in supervising and training apprenticesConducting non-routine work such as breakdowns and fault findingInstalling and calibrating instrumentation according to training/experienceSearching tags and employing fault finding toolsAbout youYou must be able to work in a team environment with a high sense of responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
It is essential that you have effective written and communication skills, with a focus on providing quality workmanship and recommendations to ensure the full potential of assets are met or exceeded.We are looking for people who have the following attributes and qualifications:S1 S2 S3 CertificationHigh Risk work licence; Forklift and EWPAbility to complete non routine work - breakdowns / fault findingHV Switching - ability to effectively conduct and challenge switching sheetsProficient in CMMS usage for equipment and stock managementAble to search drawings and manuals and write and update quality JSEAsDon't meet all the above requirements?
