About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our studio and contribute to a variety of exciting ongoing and upcoming projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile and large-scale projects.
The position is initially a 3-6 month contract with the potential to extend. We are open to applicants in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing locations for the built environment, both interior and exterior.
Producing sophisticated, creative concept designs in response to client needs.
Client communication and design briefs.
Collaborating within a team.
Managing a range of projects across multiple sectors.
Mentoring junior staff.
Material selection, as well as interior and exterior wayfinding and signage systems.
Essential criteria:
5+ years of industry experience.
A sound understanding of technical requirements.
Adept at understanding tender requirements and deadlines.
Excellent communication and liaison skills with senior management and key stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite.
Ability to understand architectural plans, standards, and BCA requirements.
