One of Australia's leading wayfinding and placemaking studios are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Wayfinding Specialist to develop and implement intuitive navigation systems across physical environments. This role involves planning, designing, and managing wayfinding strategies to help users effectively navigate public spaces, as well as helping brands create their identity using

You will be joining a highly talented, respected studio that has produced work for some of Australia's recognized brands and architectural projects, especially in the health and sporting industry. This studio prides themselves on staff engagement and recognition and will offer you ample opportunities to professionally develop and grow.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop wayfinding strategies tailored to the unique layout and needs of each environment.

  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and stakeholders to integrate wayfinding systems seamlessly into the built environment.

  • Oversee the visual design and placement of signs, maps, and digital wayfinding tools.

  • Lead presentations and review meetings with clients and cross-functional teams.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance strategies for existing wayfinding systems.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Environmental Design, Urban Planning, or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in wayfinding, signage design, or environmental graphic design.

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.

  • Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., ADA) and signage regulations.
