About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our studio and contribute to a variety of exciting ongoing and upcoming projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile and large-scale projects.

The position is initially a 3-6 month contract with the potential to extend. We are open to applicants in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing locations for the built environment, both interior and exterior.
  • Producing sophisticated, creative concept designs in response to client needs.
  • Client communication and design briefs.
  • Collaborating within a team.
  • Managing a range of projects across multiple sectors.
  • Mentoring junior staff.
  • Material selection, as well as interior and exterior wayfinding and signage systems.

Essential criteria:

  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • A sound understanding of technical requirements.
  • Adept at understanding tender requirements and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to understand architectural plans, standards, and BCA requirements.
