**The Role**
Ventia are currently recruiting for a Food and Beverage Attendant to provide great customer service within the service areas, dining areas and bars. This will include customer assistance, bar service, point of sale operation, stacking shelves, displaying stock, cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment.
- The role will see you based at the Keswick Barracks, South Australia. It is a casual position, working rostered hours, anywhere between 6:00am - 9:00pm from Monday - Sunday (7days).

**Benefits**:

- Casual rates: $31.54 per hour. (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + 11.5% superannuation and relevant penalty rates.
- Additional allowances for laundry and first aiders (if/when certified).
- Uniform/PPE supplied.

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Prepare bars and dining areas prior to opening. Ensure Mess and Bar areas are kept clean and well-presented during serving periods.
- Provide exceptional customer service including welcoming customers, responding to their requests in a timely manner and ensuring we have exceeded their expectations.
- Ensure bar services are supplied in line with Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol Standards and licensing arrangements.
- Provide assistance to chefs and kitchen staff, especially during peak times.
- Support stock management initiatives, including stock rotation, review of labels and used by dates, loading and unloading supplies, restocking consumables, and assist with stock take activities.
- Follow safe food handling and sanitation procedures, verify all equipment is working correctly, and is used properly to safely prepare, hold, and serve food and drinks.

**Position Requirements**
- Prior experience delivering Food and Beverage services. (required)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification. (RSA) (required)
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
- Current Australian drivers licence. (required)

**_Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen._**
