Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of bus drivers to deliver reliable and customer-focused services
Drive and support day-to-day operations, including scheduling, absentee management, and resource planning
Ensure services are delivered safely and in line with fatigue management regulations and enterprise agreements
Handle roster variations, pay queries and other administrative tasks to ensure payroll accuracy
Maintain a strong safety culture, respond to incidents, and support investigations when required
Foster a high-performance team culture, with a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement
Ensure depot presentation, fleet cleanliness, and maintenance standards are met
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, regulatory bodies and the public
Qualifications
Proven experience leading teams in an operational environment
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
A valid HR licence or willingness to obtain one (bus driving required)
Working with Children Check and current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Strong computer skills and familiarity with operational systems
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to safety and compliance
