**About Australian Energy Operations (AEO)**:
Australian Energy Operations (AEO) is part of a global family of energy companies operating in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Continental Europe, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, Mainland China and across Australia.
Formerly known as Transmission Operations Australia (TOA), AEO constructs, owns and operates electricity transmission assets in the growing Australian market, specialising in connecting generation assets and load requiring assets to the existing electricity network, such as Victoria's Mt Mercer windfarm.

**What you'll deliver**:
This opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated, experienced and senior asset management engineer to join our business as our AEO Asset Management Lead and manage the delivery of asset management services to AEO. In this role, you will be driven and supported to ensure the safe, sustainable and efficient performance of AEO network lines and stations assets, as well as create and implement asset life cycle plans and maintenance procedures.
Undertaking critical work in this space you will also be responsible for prioritising tasks to ensure effective financial management associated with all asset life cycle plans. You will strive to source and implement innovative solutions, as well as continuously adopting best practice asset management skills. This role has a significant focus on strategic asset management and is also accountable for stakeholder goals and targets. This is an exciting opportunity in an evolving space.

**About you**:
**To succeed in this role you'll have**:

- A Bachelor qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Solid working experience in the area of Asset Management or similiar
- Exposure and working experience in the area of electricity transmission with lines and stations assets
- A team player that strives on continuous improvement initiatives, who enjoys and can effectively communication, and stakeholder management skills.
