Government Relations Executive
This role is part of the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team, responsible for government relations, reputation, corporate communications, and sustainability professionals.
As a key member, you will work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop government engagement strategies that maximise impact in areas of strategic significance to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain working relationships with key government stakeholders across state, territory, and federal governments to ensure effective government engagement on issues of strategic significance.
Provide advice to senior leadership and build their capacity to effectively engage with government to achieve organisational objectives.
Support the execution of government relations strategies and monitor progress.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar corporate setting.
5+ years experience in a government relations advisory role in Australia.
Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus on complex issues.
Excellent people skills and proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships.
