Manual Test Analyst

**At Elysium Digital, we are expanding our Development team and as such are keen to speak to Manual Test Analysts looking for a new career opportunity.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work closely with UAT end to end Test Lead, Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Engineering teams and the Program management team to support UAT readiness and execution of transformation programs.
- Responsible for UAT logistics, Prepare and Load Test Cases into test execution system
- Support efforts to ensure test data readiness
- Support timely capture of UAT test results
- Capture test execution issues and defects
- Ensure transactional data is kept in alignment with test scenarios
- Ensure UAT reporting is set up and accurately reflects test execution results
- Estimate effort for user stories and create testing tasks during sprint planning
- Performing change impact assessment and document test scripts for enhancements and fixes
- Creation and execution of test plans for system and regression testing
- Manual Functional and Regression testing
- Integration Testing
- Create and maintain automation tests
- Configuring and managing test environments
- Create and manage Knowledge Base articles related to testing
- Be able to effectively communicate with the broader team and provide updates to non-technical employees
- Use of critical analysis skills to assist the Support team to identify and troubleshoot bugs/issues in a live production system
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand Ups and Retrospectives)

**Skills and experience that make you stand out**:

- 5+ years' experience as a Test Analyst within the IT/Technology/ Transformation functions
- Degree in IT and/or relevant practical experience
- Experience with Web and Mobile app testing
- Advanced Experience with web services testing (SoapUI, REST, Postman)
- Ability to track test cases, user stories, and defects throughout the software development lifecycle, through design, build, and testing in an Agile environment
- Experience working in an Agile-Scrum / DevOps environment
- Experience using JIRA, Zephyr and ALM/QC or similar tools.
- End to end functional and non-functional testing skills
- Workshop presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong administration skills; time management, coordination of tasks
- Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
- Critical thinking skills and an exceptional eye for detail,
- A team player, able to work alongside technical teams as part of projects
- Intermediate SQL skills.
- Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and able to work collaboratively with both technical team and business users.

**Desirable, in the role you will learn**:

- _Experience in Java/JavaScript/C# (desirable)_
- Experience with API integration (desirable)
- Automation testing in Selenium or similar tools (desirable)
- Experience in docker and containerisation technologies
