Job Title: Experienced Manual Software Tester

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced manual software tester to join a high-profile project. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an existing team who has extensive experience in the application environment. You will play a key role in supporting our clients by delivering high-quality testing outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong manual testing expertise, exposure to complex transactional systems with high levels of integration. They will also possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.

  • Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases using Zephyr.
  • Document and report test outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration and regression testing of a suite of core systems and their integrations.
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies during release cycles.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior testers within the team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience in software testing with a focus on manual testing.
  • Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Strong SQL skills for test data preparation and validation.
  • Exposure to tools such as Zephyr, Team City, Octopus Deploy and Jira for defect tracking.

Duration and Location

  • Initial contract: 12 months, with a possibility of extension.
  • Brisbane-based role with a hybrid model - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
