**Selection Criteria**:
**SC1**: Demonstrated capacity to provide tailored, individual support to instrumental music students in a school setting.
**SC2**: Demonstrated capacity to work as a member of the performing arts team.
**SC3**: Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills including the capacity to develop constructive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and members of the broader community.
**SC4**: Possess the technical knowledge and expertise of a vocal teacher.
**SC5**: Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement ensemble programs for instrumental music students in a school setting to further students' opportunities for performance.

**Role**:
This role directly supports the Instrumental Music and Performing Arts Program at the college.

The successful applicant will be required to manage small group vocal sessions for students. The successful applicant will also provide general support to the band program.

The position reports to the Performing Arts Coordinator.

**Responsibilities**:
Carry out allocated activities and tasks as determined by the school, consistent with the role description.

The rostered day/hours are negotiable, with the prospect of increasing the time fraction.

An enthusiastic vocal teacher is required to teach students from year 7-12 in our college instrumental music program. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to assist with school concerts and performances.
