Overview

Instrumental Music Teacher of Contemporary/Jazz Piano at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School. Part-time ongoing (0.2 FTE), commencing Term 1, 2026. Based at the Keilor East campus, with Monday as the required working day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual piano lessons in Contemporary/Jazz styles to students from Year 7 to Year 12
  • Assist with the stage band and contribute to music performance programs
  • Collaborate with students, parents and staff to support musical growth and wellbeing
  • Support school music events and activities
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Contemporary/Jazz Piano
  • Ability to engage and inspire students in individual lessons and ensembles
  • Working with children checks and VIT registration; eligible to work in Australia
