The company is a successful steel fabrication and engineering company with 21 + years of history in the region. They have an established network of clients and projects, so you'll never get bored.

**About the role**

This is a full-time permanent role paid hourly rates and based in Cairns.

As the Steel Detailer you will use Solidworks and Autocad to create drawings of ute and truck trays, truck bodies and crane trucks, handrails, platforms, structural steel etc.

Expertise in Solidworks and AutoCAD is a must for this role.

**Requirements for this role**
- Strong experience with Soildworks and AutoCad.
- Would suit a recent Design Engineer Graduate or similar.
- Experience as a Steel Detailer / Drafter.
- Knowledge of detailing ute & truck trays would be an advantage.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Passion for precision.
