**Your role**
- Are you someone who wants to play a crucial role in facilitating access to information and knowledge sources to support business research needs? Do you get a thrill when you find the answer to a tricky question? Is research to you more than a quick look on Google?
- We're looking for a Business Information Specialist to be part of the Global Banking Team and:
- support the business with their information needs and provide quality research
- deliver small group and one-on-one training on how to use information sources
- advise bankers on relevant sources, costs and contractual data usage
- promote the Infocentre as the "go-to" team for information
- collaborate with the Infocentre teams in other regions
- contribute to the Infocentre Team's knowledge sharing agenda

**Your team**
- You will be working in the Infocentre team based in Sydney but supporting bankers across Australia and New Zealand and at times globally. You will be supported in your role through continuous training opportunities, access to flexible work arrangements, and be part of a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team.

**Your expertise**
- degree in Library/Information Science or related field
- strong research skills, including proficiency in using online databases, search engines, and other research tools
- ability to produce high quality research, whilst working to tight deadlines
- proficient with MS Office and associated packages
- comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
- small group training experience
- adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills (you have the human touch)
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- familiarity with business and finance terms
- a genuine interest in research, the ability to track down hard-to-find information and not give up easily.
- good organisational skills
- experience in research databases including Factiva, Refinitiv, S&P Global, Dealogic, Factset and industry market research databases a bonus
