**About the role**
CatholicCare's Permanency Support Program supports children and young people who have experienced trauma and neglect. The Manager - Permanency Practice holds responsibility for all ITC Casework Practice, Placement Decisions and Permanency Directions for CatholicCare ITC clients.

**About you**
- You have extensive leadership experience and practice understanding of contemporary Child Protection and/or Permanency Support services.
- You can support and lead a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising quality practice, regulatory compliance, professional development of your direct reports and team member supervision, support and wellbeing.
- You are invested in developing highly competent and motivated teams, while sharing skills and knowledge to drive permanency practices toward meaningful outcomes.
- You are comfortable liaising with senior interagency staff, advocating for the bests interests of clients and agency.
- You are resilient, calm, solutions-focussed and have a good sense of humour.

**Duties**
- Ensure high quality of permanency planning and practice across the scope of CatholicCare PSP programs
- Provide support and supervision to a multidisciplinary permanency team
- Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and ensure direct reports build and maintain positive and strong relationships with their key people
- Ensure program compliance with OCG Standards for Permanent Care, Mandatory Reporting and CatholicCare policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies, programs and activities that support and enhance permanency practice

**Skills & experience**
- Degree qualifications in Social Services or related field and/or extensive sector knowledge and experience
- Extensive understanding of compliance requirements of Permanency Support Programs.
- Experience in managing complex matters with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including submission and report writing.
- Initiative, leadership, technical expertise and strong client and family focus
