Our Supply Chain team based out of our Distribution Center in Bundamba, is seeking an Inventory Planner to join the team.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:

- Knowledge of logistics planning and inventory management, as well as an understanding of production processes.
- Preparation of monthly internal reporting and tracking.
- Optimise inventory holdings and planning settings to reduce financial exposure to stock obsolescence.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, systems thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and have meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP (preferred).
- Ability to project manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as government bodies.
- Adherence to the Commercial Supply Chain calendar so all activities are executed as per required timelines to ensure compliance is maintained.
- Ability to use initiative and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to analyse data and provide outcomes.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Tertiary level education in supply chain, purchasing and/or inventory is highly desired;
- Knowledge of planning systems such as SAP and/or Rapid Respone;
- Strong experience in supply chain and inventory planning within the FMCG industry
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Strong stakeholder management both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear presentation skills
- Ability to manage a large portfolio of products
