Senior Functional Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant to join our team in delivering comprehensive Oracle EPM solutions.
As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will lead the strategic design, configuration, and optimization of Oracle EPM solutions to enable robust planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting capabilities.
You will collaborate closely with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to support informed decision-making and drive successful project delivery from requirements gathering through to post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle EPM (Cloud and/or On-Premise) solutions to meet business objectives.
Partner with stakeholders across finance, business units, and IT to understand requirements and translate them into effective EPM solutions.
Guide project teams through all project phases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Optimise existing EPM systems to improve performance and usability, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Provide expert guidance on best practices, standards, and governance in EPM implementations to ensure consistency and quality.
Support data validation, testing, training, and post-go-live support activities to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
Experience: 7-10+ years' proven experience in functional roles within Oracle EPM (Hyperion suite, Cloud or On-Premise).
Modules: Hands-on experience with at least two modules such as Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Cash Flow Planning, ARCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, EDMCS.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial, workforce, capital planning, consolidation, reporting, and accounting principles.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead functional teams and deliver large-scale EPM projects successfully, driving results-oriented outcomes.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, from operational staff to senior management.
Technical Skills: Deep functional expertise combined with business acumen; ability to work independently and collaboratively; effective prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
